Ingredients
All cookies and desserts may contain or come into contact with eggs, fish, milk, peanuts, sesame, shellfish, soy, tree nuts, wheat, various fruits and vegetables, or other allergens.
It is the responsibility of the customer to inform me prior to the confirmation of their booking of any allergy issues so they can be discussed. It is the responsibility of the customer to inform their guests of all allergy information and accordingly D's Custom Cookies & Confections will not be held liable for any allergic reaction resulting from consumption of the products sold.
All products are made to be eaten on the day of the celebration.
Orders
We prefer at least fourteen (14) days notice for all orders, as we are continually booked in advance. However, we will endeavor to accept short notice orders where availability permits.
Any products ordered from a picture or photo of a product produced by any other baker, can only be reproduced by us as our interpretation of that product and will NOT be an exact reproduction of the product in the picture or photo.
Deposit & Final Payment
All orders require a 50% deposit to hold the date. After placing your order, please make the deposit via Venmo or PayPal. If paying by credit card, please contact us for an email invoice (a 3.5% service fee applies). For custom cookies & desserts, final payment must be made prior to pick-up/delivery. For D's Cake Cart, the final payment must be made two weeks prior to the event date.
Changes in Orders
Orders are final, and no changes can be made within one week of the pick-up/event date.
Order Cancellations
For custom cookies & desserts, we accept cancellations up to 7 days before the delivery/pickup date. However, this does not apply to orders placed with less than 48 hours or intricate designs. D’s Custom Cookies & Confections reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee if insufficient time is given, as stated above, due to costs incurred in the purchase, preparation and prioritization of the order.
For Custom Cookies & Desserts: Charges for cancellations will be as follows:
- 15 days or more prior to pick-up or delivery date, 75% of your deposit will be returned as store credit, valid for one year starting from the date of cancellation.
- 7 days or more prior to pick up or delivery date, 50% of the deposit will be returned as store credit, valid for one year starting from the date of cancellation.
- less that 7 days prior to pick-up or delivery date, no refunds will be given, and the total amount of the order will be due.
For D's Cake Cart: Charges for cancellations will be as follows:
- 30 days or more prior to the pick-up or delivery date, 50% of your deposit will be returned as store credit, valid for 1 year starting on the date of cancellation.
- Less than 14 days prior to the event date, no refunds will be given, and the total amount of the order will be due.
Damage to Desserts
D’s Custom Cookies & Confections is not responsible for orders once they are picked up or delivered. We are not responsible for any damage occurring to the deserts during transport, set-up or any time thereafter. You will be given instructions on how to carry, transport, and store your desserts upon pick up/delivery. If you do not receive these instructions, please ask. Keep in mind that some of the desserts are very fragile, and damage can happen if not handled properly, such as cracks, smudges, melted frosting and chocolate, etc.
